Real-Time Stock Visibility in Purchase Orders
The Purchase Order Stock Availability & Forecast module enhances the Purchase Order line view by displaying current stock quantity, forecasted quantity, and stock coverage status directly in the form. Activate the fields by clicking the three dots in the line level.
With Red/Green color-coded indicators and a detailed stock view by location, procurement teams can make informed purchasing decisions without leaving the purchase order form — eliminating the back-and-forth between purchase orders and inventory screens.

Key Features
Forecasted Quantity
Displays future stock including all incoming and outgoing movements for each product on the purchase order.
Stock Coverage Percentage
Shows what percentage of the ordered quantity is already covered by current on-hand and forecasted stock.
Color Coding
Visual indicators: Red for out of stock, Green for sufficient stock — instant status at a glance without reading numbers.
Detailed Stock View
Click the stock button to view detailed stock availability broken down by warehouse location for each product.
Draft State Only
Features are visible only in draft (RFQ) state — keeping the confirmed purchase order view clean and uncluttered.

How It Works
Install, open a Purchase Order, enable the optional columns — and real-time stock data appears immediately in your order lines.
Get the Module
1. Install the module from Odoo Apps
2. Open a Purchase Order or RFQ in draft state
3. Click the three dots in the order line to enable optional columns
4. Enable On Hand Qty, Forecasted Qty, and Stock Coverage
5. View Red/Green color indicators for each product line
6. Click stock button for location-wise stock breakdown
