On the standard journal paper, bleed-through appeared quite clearly, which required a blank buffer sheet or backing sheet to be used to save the next page, which is a pretty normal phenomenon for alcohol-adjacent marker ink on non-specialized paper. Ghosting on the reverse side of the same page was visible but not that bad to prevent using both sides of the thick journal paper for light sketches. On truly thin sketchbook paper, bleed-through was more apparent and it would be wise to use either dedicated marker paper or backing sheet for the actual drawings. Colors and blend quality were not affected by the paper type. Using this 120-color marker set on the regular basis, one should get proper marker paper too for better results. The reliability is what makes this set worth purchasing.
