As was expected, the body of the Portronics Toad 8 became smudged after a week of use due to its transparency and could be seen more clearly with fingerprints and any dirt compared to an opaque mouse body. However, it could be easily wiped clean with the help of a microfiber cloth. This cleaning procedure should be done more often than with a standard mouse body in order to keep the clear look of the mouse. Components of the mouse located inside the transparent body remained to be visually attractive instead of messy since they were designed in the same way.
