Amazing trimmer, trims perfectly and precisely as needed. The blades are sharp and cuts the hair effortlessly in one go, I liked its beard sense technology which scans the facial hairs and cut with precision. The trimmer is handy and compact. It charges fast in just one hour and gives 120 minutes runtime, that's pretty amazing. It powerful and comes with different attachments for different kinds of hair cutting. It's splash proof so no need to be worried about any water damage. So, its a must have and I recommend it.

Type-C should be standard by now.Vague Battery Indicator: No percentage display. Red blinks when low. White blinks when charging. You never know when it is actually 100% full.Cheap Storage: For this price, a plastic organizer case should be included. They only provide a basic cloth bag.The Amazon Delivery Experience:Fast but Careless: Delivered same-day via Prime. However, there was zero outer packaging. Amazon just slapped a delivery sticker and shipping tape directly onto the product box. Its endorsement tape completely ruined the product details printed on the box.

I bought this to replace my 4y old MG7715 which served pretty well for 3 years and then started hiccups (after i used it wet). It finally died and i was not able to repair it. This one seems even better at trimming. Using bare blade I'm able to get a trim that looks shorter than a day old shave. Amazing. Easy to use and no cuts as long as one does not angle it into the skin.I wish the grip was better, always feels like it's going to slip out of fingers. Philips seems to have shifted to the USB-C standard for charging -no charger included, just a cable. I plugged it into 60W laptop charger and it finished 100% charging in ~55mins. I think it did 80% in about half that time.I have all the accessories from the previous model so I think I should have really bought the 5000 series. I do not see what real upgrade 7000 series is over 5000 series. Both are plastic body and seem identical except for cosmetics. The start button does NOT glow, unlike what's suggested in pictures. Although Philips claims IPx7 I do not recommend using it wet if longevity is desired, learning from my experience with the previous one. One thing i think causes the trimmer to get noisy and struggle over time is loss of lubrication. All blades come with a tinge of cream-like grease which is lost quickly. I think adding some silicone grease periodically will help maintain smooth like-new operation.
