Logitech MX Keys S Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard - Low Profile, Backlit, USB-C Rechargeable for Windows, Mac, Linux & Chrome (Graphite)

Excellent keyboards are aplenty provided one accepts 2 constraints: wired & 5 digit pricing. Good keyboards are dime a dozen provided one accepts 2 constraints: zero ergonomics & build quality/plastics. The challenge is to find a great keyboard that has terrific build quality (no flex), doesn't sound like a typewriter when the kids are asleep, strong bluetooth connection (must), adjustable backlit, superb key stroke feel and finally power that lasts at least a month. With these requirements, suddenly one is faced with the realisation that there are very few options. 2 decades earlier Microsoft used to have some excellent computer keyboard/mouse combos at sub 10k prices.After running through 3 bluetooth keyboards since COVID; HP (poor power backup), Logitech (terrible body flex) & Dell (noisy as a chicken); went through a rabbit hole of research to select the MX Keys S. Build quality is metal which is superbly finish & ensuring no flex at all. Looks seamless with my Black Surface & MBP. Far quieter than most keyboards but nowhere near those Microsoft Keyboards of old times. Power lasts almost a month with my usage. Adjustable brightness, hot toggle between devices & being full sized but very lightweight is a bonus. Had it during festive offers at sub 10k & is a steal for the sheer performance it offers being a bluetooth keyboard.You'll a bit more than economical keyboards & does not have some frills from the top of the line mechanical keyboards but it gets all the basics right and all the good to have features as well which you'll like & use more than often on a day to day basis.

Been using it the past week with my mac. The key presses are great. It is not too clacky and not too silent. Just right. The indentation on keys helps to type without mistakes. The backlight feature is nice and auto senses when I hover my hand. There are tons of options with the Logi options+ software. You can configure the top keys per application and at global level. It is good to configure keys for windows tiling in mac to the left and to the right. Sometimes the keyboard feels lengthy as I am coming from a short mac keyboard. It is portable in a backpack but not as convenient as the mac keyboard. It is on the expensive side but it will be value for money if you can snag it under 11k. One quirk I noticed is the backlight hides the lettering on the keys if you use it in an already bright room. No issues if you use it in the dark or semi dark environment.

No comparision to apple keyboard... I wanted something that gives me apple keyboard feeling...If you want to have a feeling of apple key board, you should directly buy apple keyboard instead of this....But it is good as its own.

Very happy with my purchase. This is a premium keyboard with great key travel, ambient sensing backlighting, solid build and one touch option for device switching (3 in total). Charges via USB C and lasts for a month if you do not use backlighting. I really appreciated the key travel and the key spacing which translated to a optimum typing experience. If you are spending a good amount of time behind a computer and dont mind the above average price go for it. It will benefit you in the longer run.

Expensive but very good and sturdy. Fluidic experience

I bought this keyboard for the first time, and after about a year, some keys stopped working. Sometimes it was individual keys, and other times it was key combinations. It seems more like a firmware issue than a hardware problem.At times, the keyboard would randomly type special characters. Other times, a key would stop working, output a different letter, or even type a combination of letters. Strangely, the problem would sometimes fix itself automatically, but then a different key would start malfunctioning.I stopped using the keyboard for a while, and when I started using it again, it worked perfectly for a few days. However, the same issues eventually returned.I contacted customer support, but they do not offer any repair or service for keyboards that are out of warranty. I don't think that's fair, especially for what appears to be a known issue. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to pursue the matter through consumer court.Since I needed the keyboard for work, I ended up buying the same model again. However, after about two years, the exact same problems started appearing. My friend's keyboard also developed the same issues shortly after its warranty expired.I've also found many reports of this issue on online forums, so this doesn't appear to be an isolated case.

I purchased this keyboard a month ago for both work and casual browsing, and it has exceeded my expectations. I just got it today, and writing this review, might come back and give a 3 month update later. But the unboxing experience is premium, keyboard has some heft to it by being built of good quality plastic. Even though the box doesn't advertise it, I got the logi bolt receiver along with a charging cable in the box.Keyboard feels great to type on, and Looks premium. The keys are definitely membrane, but have the satisfying click that every reviewer raves about. The only thing I can nitpick is since the entire thing feels made out of plastic it doesn't have the solid feel compared to some metal built laptop keyboards(Macbooks, and ultra premium windows laptops), but miles ahead in terms of functionality and other membrane offerings.Other people will compare similar keyboards to this, because THIS IS THE GOLD STANDARD.
